Japan Relief Fundraiser: Sat. May 14th thru Sun. May 29th!!!

Thuderous roar of a nation in dispair has quieted to a dull echo through the lands. Some months ago Japan was brought to its knees in a matter of minutes. The rush of aid in a moment of need came from far and wide. Two very different realms came together in the wake of disaster to offer a hand up from the rubble. While the recovery is ongoing, we are hearing less and less over the air waves and vivid on the hour photographs and video feeds have all but gone to the archives. Still in the months past the residents of second life have not faltered in their collective efforts to bring peace to a nation ill at ease. We can do little as a single individual but gatthered together, mountains can move. One voice a meer whisper, a choir sings on high ... this is what we do. The vast comminuies of second life are called on to support continued efforts to raise funds and awareness that indeed Japan is still in need, recovery will take years, and we must not forget.

Japan Relief Fundraiser is a collaborated effort by Ji Nirvana and Serene Faith, who have gained the approval of Americares and reached out to creators and entertainers for support. Sponsors of this fabulous charity event are BOSL Magazine, BeStyle Magazine, AVENUE Magazine, RGF Estates, and SoundStream Radio. Designers offering their items for charitable sales include, Shiki, Grizza, ByKay, VirtualImpressions, Finesmith, Alienbear. Bare Sensual, ArtiZan, and LegalInsanity, just to name a few. For each purchase made the following is true of splits, every designer has one item for the event whose sales will be donated 100% to Americares, all other items sold are 75% to this fine charity..
