Reason For Hope

Reason for Hope might could have been named better.  That is had I thought about the photograph more that I did getting it out here for you all.  Really it's not the photo, so much as the organization that one of the designers does donate all sales proceeds toward.  Perhaps you've heard of RAWA, Perhaps not.  I've done my own homework prior to making this post, please take the time to do yours.  Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan is an organization who is dedicated to giving these women back the voice that was taken from them many years ago.  Many social activities have been launched to aid in educating, providing healthcare and even financial assistance to those women who are so inclined to take on a small business under the wings of RAWA.  When light is cast upon those whose civil rights are being repeatedly violated and in most instances disregarded entirely, we become aware, then we can become part of the solution.  This is the goal of BoHo HoBo designer Trill Zapatero, to not only bring awareness to RAWA but to give all she can to aid in the efforts.  One means of doing this is to donate all proceeds from sales at Boho Hobo to RAWA.  Not a single linden lines her pocket, some serious dedication there if you ask me.  Visit her store, buy her designs, lend a hand in giving back what these women and children lost.



From time to time I do pull out one particular designer to feature in a manner of speaking.  While this is definitely one of those times, the other contributors to the above look are no less important.  Fashion designers bring every avatar the ability to be unique simply by allowing us umpteen thousand variations of jeans, dresses, shoes, hair and such.  Think too that some of todays fashion trends in the real world got started in second life.  My opinion of course.  Anyway .... today I chose these fine designers to compliment one another to bring you all "Reason For Hope"

Egoisme: Premium Gift Womens - Justine Skin Medium ~~ This is the only female skin that I now to be in existance at Egoisme.  I did go wander through the vast build that is Egoisme and found very little for females at all.  What I was able to find was nice enough and reasonably priced.  This particular skin isn't at all one of my new favorites but it is fairly nice.  The Premium Gift also has a pale version of this skin.  Due to the small amount of female items available, its my guess that they are just recently moving in the direction of female fashion design.  While the skin is about average, I do hope that future ones will be as nicely detailed as the mens skins on display there.

Hair: [TS] Veruska II -Mocha ~ A lil sassy, a hint of cute, and a whole lotta soul.  Think the small tied with bow stands do it for me with this hair from Tribal Soul / Secrets Hair.  It really is adorable doncha think? 

Shirt:: .::Censored::. Shirt Spring - nice summer spagetti strap tank, color and pattern a perfect match for the jeans.  Not really much on seperates, because honestly, I loose them in the gobs of inventory.  These are cute enough to wanna try to keep up with them.
